Years End
Can't believe it's already December and that 2009 is over. It seems like just yesterday when I moved back into CVB and started my 3rd year here at SJSU. I would have to say 2009 has been the most exciting year yet. Met alot of good people in my life and had lots of fun while doing so. Partying, RLXing, drinking, and so much more has also contributed to the fun. All in all these experiences helped to make my college life more enjoyable and i'm just glad i'm not one of those people who is at home all day and doesn't get a chance to actually experience life. Cheers to 2009 and let's all hope 2010 only gets better :)
on that note, i would like to bring back this throwback...does anyone remember when this picture blew up on the interwebz??

thanksgiving highlights
So my Thanksgiving break started on Wednesday. After some miscommunication I ended up taking the Caltrain home and met up with my friend Jesse for some "dinner" I guess. More like we just needed a place to talk and catch up. It seems forever since I last went home and chilled with people. So we went to Wendy's.
Thursday was pretty epic. Started the day with Thanksgiving LUNCH with my family. We had a BIGASS turkey that my dad BOUGHT lol suckaaaaas saved time on cooking there! then we also had eggrolls, fried shrimp, macaroni salad, potato salad, regular salad, and some Vietnamese food. Food was pretty good for just waking up, Turkey got me all sleepy...Then at around 6pm my cousin came by to pick me and my brother up to go to our other cousins house for a just cousins Thanksgiving dinner. We had Prime Rib, baconcheddar mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, bacon/asparagus, and some rasberry beer to top it off. dessert we had waffles with ice cream and dark chocolate shavings.
first time i toked with my cousins too. had no idea they were into that stuff. i picked up a dub and we used his vape and got some good cousin bonding done. that probably was the highlight of my thanksgiving '09 haha
Friday got to chill with some friends. watched ninja assassin and ate korean food. got some quicklys and then met up with some other friends and toked the night awayyyyyy. 2 fatty blunts and endless bowls = trip to Nation's. i got a cheeseburger with grilled onions, french fries, and a slice of banana creme pie mmmm hit the spottt
saturday went to my friend Billy's house and had some more Thanksgiving food. played some card games, had some THC honey from the club, played kings cup and high card. too lazy to type out the details but it was a fun night with good people. got home late and KTFO.
now back in san ho, no ones in the apt and im waiting for karen to get back =)

Garage, iMD Grand Opening, Alleycat
I'm sorry for my lack of blogging as of late, haven't had a chance to sit down and actually write up everything that has been happening lately.
So this weekend just happened to be the best weekend I've had in a loooooooooong time. Everything seemed to be so surreal and I am sad that it is over and we're all back to reality.
My weekend started with Friday where I had a wonderful night out with thegirlthatimkindaseeingordating :) The two of us have had a rough week of school work and who knows what else, so this outing was just what we needed. We were looking for a place to go out and eat that wasn't too far from campus and she brought up The Garage. The Garage is a nice, cozy lil eatery hidden near the 7-11 on San Carlos & 11th St.

We had a nice sit down dinner there. I had the Angus Burger and she had some kind of delicious curry chicken and sweet potato fries combo. Afterwards we watched I Love You Man. She liked the movie and I have not watched it so we watched it, and I loved it. Seemed like the perfect movie to watch after a delicious meal.
The following day, Saturday, was the big iMinusD Grand Opening and the 4th and last installment in the W.R.A.P. Alleycat series. After the race was also the trick competition that JP had put together known as Quantum. However, since RATZ and SARDINES already purchased our Tiësto tickets, we didn't want to tire ourselves before the big night, so all of us decided to just help out at checkpoints for the alleycat.

I worked the last checkpoint which was at Piedmont Hills. I ended up jumping on the STAFF last minute and worked it with Wah, Truong, and Holly. Because Wah had a craving for some Taco Bell, we came up with the idea for the racers who pass by our checkpoint to down a packet of Fire Sauce before they proceed to the finish at iMINUSD. Big props to Mark and the rest of the iMD family who put this all together and to all the racers who competed in this alleycat! Sucks that I missed out on Quantum, Gnarcotix, TCC catering, and the rest of the shenanigans that happened...

what a GREAT start for the weekend! next post will be on the epic Tiësto concert at the Cow Palace, stay tuned...
