soooooo this weekend i initially wanted to just stay in SJ and chill with my homies and everything, but certain things came up and i was needed back at home.
first i found out my cousin from Australia was in town for a few days so i wanted to come home and spend some time with her and her husband while they were in the US. i believe last time i saw her was when i was still in middle school and i was shorter than her, but now more than 6 years later, everyone seems to have gotten older.
i decided to come back home on thursday and skip my friday class to spend time with my cousins. was going to take caltrain, but last minute ended up getting a ride from raymon. nigga smoked me out and we got back in the city just in time for dinner. my cousins and i ate dinner at Absinthe, which is apparently Top Chef's Jaymie's restaurant. the food was amazinggggg. a tad upscale, but my older, working cousins was covering the bill heh. i got the scallops and clam chowder for my appetizer and the grilled halibut. i also got to drink some champagne too cuz i was the youngest at that dinner and everyone else was 21 already!
the next day on friday we decided to take my cousin bike riding across the GGB. they all rented bikes, while i brought my fixed gear. since i was one of the more experienced riders, i was put in charge to lead the pack, and i did! we started in North Beach, went thru Crissy Fields, across the bridge, and into Sausilito where i got a flat, sucks. there we got to eat lunch, eat some ice cream, and then finally jumped on the fairy to head back to SF.
and lastly, saturday was devoted to miss jennifer's bday. we started off by going to Hokkaido in San Mateo for a lil lunch buffet. haven't been there for lunch before, and i'd say its pretty much the same as dinner i guess. food wasn't bad tho. afterwards we were introduced to bryan's penis cake that he baked for jenn.
after lunch we all went our separate ways. me and jenn went to get alcohol for later that night when we went karaokeing. i used my brothers id no problem to get some cognac and some other drinks. totally forgot and gave them my debit card with MY name on it when i was paying for it but its ok cuz the store owner seemed pretty chill. i then proceeded to andrews house to chill for a bit. then went to hollys house. tried helping her with her hair then met up with jesse, smoked up and got some subway. later on met up with jenn, joanne, mindy, bryan, andrew, and jesse for karaoke in the fillmo. had a few shots, sang my heart out, and my throat was killing me. all in all a fun day. hope your bday was enjoyable for you too JENNIFERRR.
**got lazy to post and kinda gave the shortened version at the end haha

SHROOMS
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon: The End of Day
last night i watched He's Just Not That Into You and i have to admit it's a pretty good movie. i was expecting some kind of a chick flick about relationships and some corny ending in the end, but this movie was more realistic. i felt bad watching the movie seeing how girls get so caught up in guys and what not. me, being on the other side, never stopped to view the girls' perception of this 'love game' that we all play.
there were many memorable quotes from the movie that i find is very true, but i don't remember it exactly and i'm too lazy to look it up.
i'll just say that the movie got me thinking about my own life...
